Portfolio Website
This site — a fully custom portfolio built from scratch with the help of GitHub Copilot with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. Features a responsive layout, scroll animations, a contact form, and a star-rating popup.
How It Was Built
The process behind this portfolio, step by step
Planning
I started by sketching out what I wanted the site to look like and what pages it needed. I picked the dark background with orange colors because it matched my style.
Building the Pages
I wrote the basic structure of every page — home, videos, about, projects and contact. Think of this like building the skeleton of a house before you paint or decorate it.
Styling
This is where the site went from plain text to something that actually looks good. I added all the colors, fonts, spacing, animations, and made sure it looks great on all available platforms.
Making It Interactive
I added all the moving parts — the typing animation on the home screen, the menu that slides open on mobile, the videos loading automatically, and the star rating popup that allows you to rate your experience on the website.
Contact Form
I set up the contact form so messages actually get delivered to my email. I also added protection so bots can't spam it, and a cool "Message Sent!" screen shows up after you hit send.
Going Live
I uploaded all the code to GitHub and connected it to Cloudflare Pages, which hosts the site for free. Now every time I save a change, the live site updates automatically within seconds.
